WILD WILD WEST Performed by the Miami Dade College On Stage Wind Symphony

FREE CONCERT Sunday, October 14, 2018 7:30 - 9:00 PM Produced by the MDC Kendall Campus Music Department, directed by Dr. Leo Walz and performed by the Miami Dade College Wind Symphony, Wild Wild West features a selection of award winning songs from classic western movies. Highlighted compositions include Cowboys composed by John Williams, one of the most recognized and accomplished composers alive today, The Magnificent Seven composed by Elmer Bernstein, a true movie master responsible for some of the most iconic theme tunes of the second half of the 20th century, and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kids composed by Burt Bacharach, which earned him an Oscar for original score and song. The performance will be accompanied by a film screening of classic Western films.
