Zumba for Haiti
Zumba for Haiti

JAN 13

This Saturday, January 13, 2018, bring out the whole family for a free outdoor Zumba session led by an experienced instructor. Start the new year right with an hour of energetic movement to the beats of DJ Francois.

Registration starts at 7:15 AM at the beautiful Jaco Pastorius Park in Oakland Park. Zumba will follow our competitive run where the first 3 runners to hit the finish line will get a prize and will precede the kick off of the 8th Annual Save Haiti Bike Ride. Help us send them off right and learn some great steps in the process.

You can choose what you are running or dancing for. Here are some suggestions: Better Public Schools, Political Stability, Better Infrastructure, Civic Engagement, Revival of Agriculture, Restavek, Sanitation, Haiti’s Sovereignty, Women’s Rights, STEM Education, Literacy, Gender Equality, Workers’ Rights, Better Healthcare, Girls Empowerment, Clean Water, Mentorship, Electricity, Access to Information and more.

This event is hosted in partnership with J.U.S.T.E Inc. This is an important occasion to come together and remember the tragedy of the January 12, 2010 Haiti earthquake as we celebrate life and work toward a better future for our brothers and sisters here and in Haiti.

When tragedy unites us, let us take the opportunity to love and celebrate each other. Register today for Free. http://colorofhope.org/zumba-for-haiti/
