The John Daversa Quintet plays “CUARENTENA: With Family at Home”
Saturday January 16 at 8:00 PM EST (UTC-5:00) South Florida JAZZ, the premier presenter of modern jazz in the region, goes virtual this season with “CUARANTENA: With Family at Home,” a livestream performance by multiple Grammy-awarded trumpeter, composer and arranger John Daversa, accompanied by all-star musicians: internationally renowned pianist Gonzalo Rubalcaba, virtuoso bassist Carlo De Rosa; drummer extraordinaire Dafnis Prieto, and veteran, stellar percussionist Sammy Figueroa. The band will feature original, nearly magical compositions, predominantly penned by Mr. Daversa, reflecting the times we currently live in.
