The Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami (CCBM), artistic director Eriberto Jimenez, invites you to the presentation of its first program of the season, Choreographers Showcase, on Saturday, November 12, at 8:00 pm. at the Sanctuary of the Arts (Coral Gables).
“Choreographers Showcase” was created with the aim of experimenting and creating new pieces for the company’s repertoire, as well as being a platform for Miami’s new talents in choreography. This exciting and eclectic program highlights neoclassical and contemporary dance pieces specially conceived in a format suitable for the many different spaces where they will be performed.
The program will include new creations by young choreographers and others already part of the CCBM’s repertoire, such as “Habaneras”, a tribute to Cuban women, with music by composer Ignacio Cervantes.
