From Paris to the world’s stages, French guitarist Edith Pageaud is taking America by storm. A prize-winner at competitions across Europe, she weaves Glass, Schubert, Rachmaninoff, and Piazzolla into a breathtaking solo journey. “A fireworks display of sound” — Münchner Merkur.
In this recital, Pageaud invites listeners on a journey through centuries and styles — from the meditative minimalism of Philip Glass to the Baroque intricacies of Heinrich Biber, from Schubert’s lyrical poetry to the transcendent spirituality of Messiaen. Her program explores the emotional and expressive potential of the guitar in works both intimate and grand.
Don’t miss one of classical guitar’s most thrilling young voices!
