G.I.R.L. Fest 2023

Experience the power of Girl Scouting and impact of Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida at the annual G.I.R.L. Fest! People of all ages are invited to celebrate at our annual open house. You’ll meet vendors and community partners who provide Girl Scout programs and troops from all over our service area. To close the Council’s centennial celebration, this year’s theme is “Bridging into the Next Century!” It’s a community-wide opportunity to see what Girl Scouts has to offer, including engaging, challenging, and fun activities like a mock archaeology dig, dissecting microscope, an obstacle course and more. 

The attendees will hear from National Geographic’s first female wildlife correspondent Dr. Mireya Mayor. She’s a world-renowned primatologist and explorer, award-winning TV host, science communicator and former Girl Scout. Mireya has hosted dozens of documentaries, including her own Nat Geo Wild! Series Wild Nights with Mireya Mayor.
