WLRN’s Eco Fest
WLRN recently produced its latest original documentary – Troubled Waters: A Turtle’s Tale, focused on educating the public on marine conservation and the future of the sea turtles. The film along with our daily environmental coverage on local, national and international landscapes and an environmental newsletter, have all been extremely successful within our community, indicating South Florida’s interest and passion for all thing’s environment. WLRN wants to elevate our service to the community even further by partnering with the City of Boca Raton to host WLRN’s Eco Fest on April 9th, 2022 to celebrate Earth Month.
Eco Fest promises to be a day filled with education, interactive engagement and family fun! The festival will include eco-friendly food trucks, environmental non-profits, eco-related vendors, a kid’s zone with interactive environmental exhibits, bounce houses, popular PBS characters, a private VIP tent and much more. The Festival will conclude with a panel discussion with environmental experts and a free amphitheater film screening of our documentary Troubled Waters: A Turtle’s Tale.
